Structural geometric Topology is a generative mathematical discipline for the construction, deconstruction and classification of topological structures with geometric components. 

The structure and organization of Structural geometric Topology within STEAM CAD can be seen below in Figure 1. 

Note: Green highlighting indicates inputs and yellow highlighting indicates the resulting composite output.

 When operated from the top-down STEAM CAD is generative and from the bottom up it is taxonomic.

The final step in the design to print process entails converting the cubic Trefoil Knot into its 3D analogue (stl file) and exporting it to the Slicer software for further design refinement before being sent to the 3D printer for physical realization.
