We rely on our chaperones to help make this an incredible weekend for the kids. Please see below for what you can expect as a chaperone before you register.
Completion of the registration forms and submission of payment reserves your spot. Please note that we are only accepting 1 chaperone per family at this time. If more than one parent/guardian from the same family would like to chaperone, please register and we will add you to a waitlist

Complete a Background Check by 7/15/2025.
If you have completed a background check for Strongsville Schools (ex: field trips, Sixth grade camp, Eighth grade DC trip, etc) within the past two years, we can use these results.

Expect to be attentive and actively involved with your group of 8-10 campers.
Attend Mandatory Chaperone meeting after the Parent Meeting on an August 26th at Strongsville Middle School.
Arrive at Check-In on Friday, September 12 at 1:00 PM.
Assist with check-in and either loading luggage or campers onto the busses.
Ride on the bus with the campers to and from camp.
Perform chaperoning duties throughout the entire weekend through pick-up on Sunday afternoon.
Actively participate with your group and help facilitate activities, rain or shine
Communicate with campers' families during the weekend
Sleep in a cabin with campers and/or other chaperones
Dispense medications if needed
Enforce camp rules for the safety, security and enjoyment of everyone
Refrain from smoking - the entire campus is non-smoking
Understand that cell phone service is poor and it may be difficult to make/receive calls/texts
