The COVID-19 pandemic was a frightening and uncertain time. Millions of people around the world faced loss, isolation, and fear as the world struggled to adapt. For founder Crescenzo “Enzo” Fano, the experience was deeply personal. After losing close family members and being forced to leave college during his senior year, Enzo found himself searching for purpose in the midst of chaos.
In 2020, he founded what was originally known as Strong Island Wrestling Videos, a brand dedicated to highlighting and promoting the Long Island wrestling community. From high school athletes to NCAA competitors and even Olympians, Strong Island Productions provided an opportunity for every wrestler or athlete connected to Long Island to showcase their journey through high-quality highlight videos.
While Enzo was coaching wrestling at Newfield High School, Strong Island Productions was nominated for and ultimately won the Suffolk County Coaches Association Public Relations Award for the 2021-2022 season. This honor recognized Enzo's commitment to showcasing and elevating so many “Strong” Island wrestlers that still leaves a lasting impact with the community.
Enzo would have to put the company on pause as he was Usa wrestling's first ever video specialist, that required him to move out of new york!
December 13, 2025, marked the return of Strong Island Productions, as Enzo moved back to New York with a renewed mission: to showcase the incredible talent across the Empire State.
During its first season back, Strong Island Productions made a significant impact, generating nearly 5 million views, reaching more than 650,000 accounts, and earning nearly 100,000 likes throughout the wrestling season. These accomplishments helped earn Enzo another Public Relations Award, recognizing his continued contributions to the wrestling community.
Adding to an already successful season, Strong Island Productions was also honored with the 2025–26 Peter Menier Photographer of the Year Award. This recognition represents more than just an individual achievement. It is a testament to the impact Strong Island Productions continues to make within the New York wrestling community.
As the company continues to grow, Strong Island Productions remains committed to serving its incredible clients and providing athletes, teams, and organizations with high-quality content that showcases their hard work and achievements.

Crescenzo “Enzo” Fano (pronounced ker-shen-zo), and I’m a creative professional passionate about storytelling through content creation. After taking a step back from the freelance world for the past two and a half years, I’ve continued to stay deeply involved in the world of sports media, producing video and photo content for organizations such as USA Wrestling and St. John’s University.
Throughout my journey, I’ve grown not only as a video editor and photographer but as a creative who understands the power of capturing moments that inspire and connect.
