The Gold Award is the highest achievement a Girl Scout can earn, it is often compared to the Boy Scout Eagle Award (however the regulations differ and the Gold Award is often much more work). The Gold Award criteria requires that each recipient creates and carries out a sustainable solution. Over the years many different projects have been completed, some other projects have written books and/or created care kits as well while others look very different. Either way each one is relatively unique and strives to make a change.
