The Dr. Sean-Mažeika P. Sulliván Memorial Fellowship was established in memory of former Principal Investigator of the STRIVE Lab, Director of the Baruch Institute of Coastal Ecology and Forest Science (BICEFS), and Professor in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Conservation at Clemson University. Gifts made to the memorial fellowship will support graduate students pursuing a degree in Forestry and Environmental Conservation.
The Streams, Rivers, and Estuaries (STRIVE) Laboratory at Clemson University's Baruch Institute of Coastal Ecology and Forest Science is the lab of the late Dr. Mažeika P. Sulliván. Since Dr. Sulliván's untimely passing in May 2024, his lab members and collaborators continue to uphold his research legacy by carrying on his research projects in his honor. Broadly, the STRIVE Lab specializes in the ecology and conservation of stream, river, and wetland ecosystems, with research centered on ecosystem-scale dynamics, connectivity, and ecological networks. Check out the Research tab to learn more about the research that the lab conducts.
