Research interests

My research is focused on the study of different aspects of the so-called gauge/gravity correspondence, a proposed duality between quantum field theories and gravity theories in higher dimensions. My programme is twofold. The first goal of my research is to provide relevant holographic models with applications in condensed matter or high energy physics scenarios and to address interesting problems in these contexts. The second goal is to contribute to a better understanding of the correspondence, by providing checks of its validity and to apply it to other contexts such as cosmological backgrounds.
