strictly4u  Improvers Workshops

You are warmly invited to join our Improvers Workshops running weekly on Tuesday evenings (8.45pm- 9.45pm) in the Nightingale Pavilion CB1 8SG on selected dates as advertised.  

Our early January "block" starts on: TUESDAY 13th January 8.45pm for 5 consecutive weeks

COST £6.50 pp / workshop for block bookings (£8.50 pp for drop in rate, subject to availability)

Further blocks of 5-6 weeks will follow-on

Our workshops will include (in no particular order!) the popular "Strictly" dances:  Waltz, Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Tango, Jive, Samba, Quickstep and Rumba.  From September we will also introduce the Viennese Waltz.  

The programme will also include practise nights to provide friendly practise opportunities with inspirational dance music from a variety of genres from golden era classics to up-to-date pop

• Suitable for continuing improvers and new joiners with basic skills

• Over 18s pairs or singles.  We aim to get singles dancing with a spare partner, tutor or helper

• Small group size for individual attention

• Hosted at the Nightingale Pavilion, CB1 8SG (near Addenbrookes) with modern facilities, air con, free on-street parking

• Dance shoes, or suitable shoes with a bit of "glide" are recommended

• Water bottles can be re-filled in the kitchen

• Experienced workshop leaders, Tony Cronshaw and James Goddard (plus helpers) for a friendly atmosphere and a touch of humour
