Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
Bill DeLongis is in his tenth year as head strength and conditioning coach for Trinity College. At Trinity, he oversees all 30 sports and directly works with football, volleyball, men's basketball, men's & women's hockey, baseball, softball, and women's lacrosse. He also works seasonally with USA Women's Hockey, a position he has held since 2017. With USA Hockey, he has assisted with the National Team, served as the Head S&C Coach for the 2018, 2019, 2021, & 2022 U18 National Team, and has coached at various U15 and U18 Developmental Camps.
DeLongis came to Trinity from Division I Stony Brook University on Long Island where he was the assistant director for athletic performance for two years. DeLongis worked directly with the volleyball, women's basketball, men's lacrosse, and baseball teams and assisted with football at Stony Brook. A former Stony Brook Athletic Performance intern himself (2010), he also ran the internship program. Before Stony Brook, DeLongis served as the head strength and conditioning coach for all 10 sports at Division II Converse College in South Carolina for two and a half years. He also has experience at Infiniti Sports Performance in Bellport, N.Y. and Velocity Sports Performance in Charlotte, N.C.
DeLongis earned his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a concentration in fitness and wellness from Winthrop University in South Carolina and received his Master's of Education with a concentration in Experiential Education at Plymouth State University. DeLongis has also competed in powerlifting and strongman through the North American Strongman Association. Along with coaching, he is the chair of the NSCA Ice Hockey Special Interest Group, has written sports performance articles for Pro Hockey Strength, STACK Magazine, Stack.com, Train Heroic, and Breaking Muscle and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and on CBS for using power tools for massage.

Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Sean Foster begins his first year as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Trinity College Athletic Department in 2024-2025.
Foster came to Trinity from the Baltimore Orioles where he was a Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the FCL (Rookie League) Orioles. There he executed daily warm ups, weight room programming, and conditioning for all FCL players. Foster and his colleagues were named FCL Strength and Conditioning Coaches of the Year by his peers.
Previously, Foster was an Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach and Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Division 1 Elon University where he helped the Women’s Tennis team to a 14-10 record. In addition, Foster assisted with designing, developing, and coaching a high-performance model with Football, Baseball, Women’s Tennis, Track and Field, and Cross Country programs. In the summer of 2023, Foster spent time as a sports performance intern at Elon University working closely with Football, Baseball, and Men’s Basketball. Before Elon, Foster served as Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the New York Mets during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the summer of 2019, Foster worked as a sports performance intern for the University of Connecticut, where he assisted with Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, and Women’s Soccer. Foster spent almost three years (2017-2020) as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Alabama. There, he designed and implemented the strength and conditioning programs for Men’s Cheer during the 2019-2020 academic school year. At Alabama he assisted with recruitment of high school and transfer athletes and assisted with Alabama’s
Football, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, Cheer, Swimming and Diving, Rowing, and Golf teams.
Foster earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He earned his master’s degree in Sport Business Management from the University of Alabama in 2020.

Brown begins his first academic year as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Trinity College for the 2024-25 season. He joins Trinity from Springfield College, where he competed as a track and field athlete during his undergraduate studies. Brown earned his bachelor's degree in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield. His experience also includes internships at Mount Holyoke College and Trinity College.
