#StrengthBasedEDU supports educators (parents, siblings, families, teachers, admin, etc.) by providing strategies for a strength-based approach to teaching and learning for all students. Leveraging an ethic of care while embracing the power of relationships and relationship building, #StrengthBasedEDU supports all students and families. A few examples of what a strength-based approach might look like in a learning setting include, but are not limited to, the following:

In 2004, Dr. "Chip" Anderson, a professor at Azusa Pacific University, defined a strength-based education as "a process of assessing, teaching, and designing experiential learning activities to help students identify their greatest talents, and to then develop and apply strengths based [sic] on those talents in the process of learning, intellectual development, and academic achievement to levels of personal excellence. "
