Conclusion

The results of the collected interview information points to changes that need to be made in homeless and low income services in downtown San Diego. Although the city of San Diego is allotted funds from the ESG (Emergency Solutions Grant) to better the homeless situation, the way that the funds are being used may not be the most efficient nor effective for the community. Hopefully with these findings and further research, better means and allocations of these funds may occur.
