The song "Muqabla" from the Tamil film Kadhalan, which was dubbed in Hindi as Humse Hai Muqabla, was originally composed by A. R. Rahman, lyrics by Vaali in Tamil and P.K. Mishra in Hindi and sung by Mano and Swarnalatha, and then was recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. A version of the song was initially used to promote ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.[11][12]

*I don't know if Nora Fatehi, who is Canadian by way of Morocco, is doing her own choreography on this item number, but this is a truly novel style of Bollywood choreography. I've never seen anybody in Bollywood dance like that, and even the costumes and hairstyles are globalized and dislocated. Nora's not an actress, or not yet anyway, but she's almost in FKA Twigs territory here. I'm thinking the coming decade is gonna see a lot of stuff like this; she's making other item-number dancers seem quite corny.

I recently watched an absolute headache of a movie called Street Dancer 3D but this post isn't about the movie itself since we all know how shit it is, rather the godawful soundtrack. I couldn't help but realise that there is only 1 original song in the entire album and it isn't even good. All the others are remakes of some of my favourite Punjabi songs or some other terrible rehash. Honestly we need to kick out people like Tanishk Bagchi, he is honestly the worst music composer in Bollywood. I'm sure I'm not the only one who says that this is the WORST album in Bollywood so far for many reasons.

Actor Nora Fatehi, who impressed fans and critics with her moves in the Street Dancer 3D song Garmi, wore stilettos while doing the demanding dance moves. She has now spoken about this in a behind-the-scenes video. The song features Nora with Varun Dhawan.

New Delhi [India], Dec 21 (ANI): The makers of the upcoming movie 'Street Dancer 3D' dropped its 'Muqabla' song on Saturday making the '90s kids go on a nostalgic ride. Grooving to the A R Rahman hit, Prabhudeva who has owned the original music earlier has put on his best shoes here making the audience go amazed. Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan shared the official trailer of the song on Twitter with the caption "The god brings back the beat @PDdancing#muqabla@remodsouza thank u for letting me be a part of this even though it for Just a bit lol #StreetDancer3D. The team had dropped the official trailer of the flick earlier on Wednesday, that saw Shraddha Kapoor as the Pakistani's dance team leader and Varun Dhawan representing the Indian team. Prabhu Deva, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor have brought the rhythm of AR Rahman's iconic track Muqabla back to life in Street Dancer 3D's latest song Muqabla. The song, which is from Prabhu Deva's 1994 film Kadhalan/Humse Hai Muqabla, is given new life in this reprised version. The track Muqabla features Prabhu Deva, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor pulling off the iconic moves effortlessly. Our favourites are the shots where Prabhu Deva and Varun Dhawan move like a dream in pristine white outfits. Going by the track, it wouldn't be wrong to say that Muqabla belongs to only one person - Prabhu Deva - and he owned it again but this time, with some new and amazing moves.

One of the biggest dance battles of Bollywood, Street Dancer 3D is set against an India-Pakistan dance rivalry, in which Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor play competing dancers on opposing sides of the cross-border divide.

The original composition belongs to AR Rahman. However, the new Muqabla has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. As far as the track is concerned, it takes you back to the 90s. But it is the video of the song that leaves you in awe. Towards the end of the video, there is a section where we see clothes dancing in human body shapes which takes us back to the original video.

Alongside Varun Dhawan, Street Dancer 3D also features Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi in significant roles. Popular dancers Raghav Juyal, Dharmesh Yelande, Salman Yusuff Khan and Punit Pathak also feature in the film.

You need to have a good understanding of the music guidelines for the competition that you are entering. Whilst some competitions may be fine with a single song for a solo performance, others may require a music mix.

Music mixes are an important feature of a dance competition. This is when multiple songs are put together in one track. You will be dancing to snippets of songs as opposed to a complete track so you will be able to switch up your dance routine.

A great dance mix can be the difference in helping you win the competition. It can allow you to be more creative with your choreography and engage with different audiences. However, it can be challenging putting together the right songs and knowing how long to play each one.

Storytelling is a massive part of both dance and music and the songs you choose will help you tell your story. Think about the lyrics used in songs and the mood that the music conveys. By mixing different moods and highlighting specific lyrics, you can emphasise the meaning of your dance moves and deliver a bigger impact.

After the revamped 'Muqabla' and the party number 'Garmi,' the makers of Street Dancer 3D have dropped the third song from the lineup, 'Illegal Weapon 2.0.' The song will serve as Shraddha Kapoor's introductory number in the movie, reports Mid-Day.

Rivals Inayat (Shraddha Kapoor) and Sahej (Varun Dhawan) whirl, twirl, and shake a leg in perfectly choreographed and coordinated dance moves. They break-dance and hip-hop across the streets of an urban space, challenging each other to up their game at every beat.

In an interaction with Mid-Day, director Remo D'Souza reveals Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan belong to different dance groups, and keep competing with each other. In 'Illegal weapon 2.0', the two groups meet for the first time. The director further says the makers were looking for a groovy number for the sequence when producer Bhushan Kumar recommended the 2018 hit. "We realised it could be a perfect song to introduce Shraddha's character. We have retained the music and hook line, but have changed the lyrics. We have pumped up the groove and added a street mix vibe to the track," Remo states. 'Illegal Weapon' is a Punjabi single sung by Jasmine Sandlas and Garry Sandhu. Ahead of the release of the song, a promo video was also launched. Check it out here

The first song released by the makers was 'Muqabla,' a rehashed version of Prabhu Deva's iconic number 'Muqabla Muqabla' from the 1994 film Humse Hai Muqabla. The song features Prabhu, Varun, and Shraddha locking and popping with ease, as they sway to the classic dance steps from the songs. There are many other interesting formations and rain dance sequences in the rehashed song.

This movie is a trip in the most literal sense. The plot follows a group of dancers who attended the same party one night. After ingesting drug-laced sangria, the night dissolves into a mess of murder and terror. And while this is certainly not one for those looking for a lighthearted watch, there are some incredible dance scenes and outfits.

Alex Owens is a factory worker by day and a night club dancer by night. Her greatest dream? To get into a prestigious dance conservatory and become a full-time professional dancer. We dare you not to sign up for dance classes after watching this classic.

This indie film explores the demanding life of male Georgian dancers. Lead character Merab is on course to become a member of the esteemed National Georgian Ensemble with his partner Mary. But when mysterious, talented Irakli shows up, his presence leaves Merab questioning everything, including his own sexuality.

Real life dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov stars as a ballet dancer who has defected from the Soviet Union and is desperately trying to escape, all while still dancing, of course. The film features tons of inspiring dance scenes and also stars a young Gregory Hines, Helen Mirren, and Isabella Rosellini. 2351a5e196
