SORRY BUT I NO LONGER DO GENERAL REPAIR WORK
SORRY BUT I NO LONGER DO GENERAL REPAIR WORK
YOU'VE FOUND ME!
Welcome to the home of StreathamAutos.
I'm based in the north of Birmingham, just 3 miles from junction 7 of the M6, in a little place called Kingstanding...and this is where the magic happens.
Here I can take an old, battered, beat-up, unloved scooter or motorbike and turn it back into something to be proud of again.
Over the years I've done some bikes that even I thought I wouldn't be able to revive again, have a look at the Suzuki F50 Cutlass gallery pictures if you don't believe me, but once you start digging down into them they soon get under your skin and you just have to do them. Whatever it costs, and believe me, if I took into account the time I've put into some bikes they would be priced off this planet, but you can't put a price on something you just love doing.
This whole scooter thing started off years ago with me just tinkering on my own bikes, then to buying a couple of scooters with blown engines and battered bodies just for me to do up and sell on. You know, a little hobby as such.
Well, it ballooned and it's all my neighbour's fault. He went and told his mate that I fix bikes and then he went and told everybody else. Now I struggle to do my own projects because I'm always fixing everybody else's. But hey-ho, that's business, that's what I'm here for.
It's not just scooters either, there are a few bigger engine bikes in there as well.
So, have a look through my website at some of the jobs I've done over the last couple of years, there are plenty of photos in the gallery tab above.
The blog tab will just be me venting my frustration at whatever problem has reared it's head that day and with useful links to outside sites that will hopefully be useful.
The current project tab is whatever I'm working on at present. It will change from time to time so keep your eye out for any new updates on it.
Hopefully you'll be impressed and if there is anything you think I can do for you, then either call me or drop me an email.
Please don't be disheartened if I don't pick up the phone straight away, it can get manic here sometimes and with engines running in the workshop, it can get hard to hear the phone when it rings. However, I will always call you back if you leave a message.
Kind regards,
Steve

This one for full restoration
It's not too bad given it's age, but you can see where corrosion is starting to take hold.
