Fausto Francesco Lizzio, Ph.D., was born in Catania, Italy, in 1996. He received his B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2017, his M.S. degree in Mechatronic Engineering in 2019, and his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 2024 from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He has been a visiting student at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain in 2017, at California State University of Los Angeles, California, US in 2019, and at Osaka University, Japan in 2022. In late 2020, he joined the Stream Robotics Labs at Politecnico di Torino in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His research interests mainly focus on distributed control of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), consensus theory, formation flight, collision avoidance, target estimation, and delayed networks.Â
