We are Straughn Robotics! In the fall, we compete in BEST Robotics at Troy University (and go from there). However, in the spring, we compete in FIRST Robotics in Huntsville (and this year, Tallahassee!). Our robotics program not only encourages future engineers or computer scientists, but also those interested in business, journalism, and public speaking. Students in robotics can learn multiple skills, such as: wiring, programming, wood/metal fabrication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
