This creative guild of fibre enthusiasts (formerly known as Pioneer Treadlers Spinners and Weavers of Strathroy) was formed in 1993. It is dedicated to exploring fibre and textile skills, educating and passing these skills on to others. The guild is very active participating in community events, holding workshops and encouraging others to get involved with the amazing world of spinning, weaving, knitting, felt making and dyeing.
We encourage anyone with an interest in fibre arts to explore our guild.
We have an Open Studio from 12 to 4 pm every Wednesday from September to July at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 152 Albert St., Strathroy.
There are also focus groups on spinning, weaving and knitting on select Wednesdays from 1 - 3 pm.
These get togethers are designed to foster comradery and connection with an appreciative and enthusiastic group of like-minded friends.
Send us an email or come to a meeting and see what we’re all about!
