The DPA Strategy project is run collectively by Steve Wood, Marie-Charlotte Roques-Bonnet and Seb Page ("the project team"). They are jointly responsible for the processing of any personal information connected with the project.
What personal information do we collect?
We collect the following information about stakeholders who engage with the project, either directly with the project team, via the project website or the Mailchimp sign up form.

Job title
Organization the stakeholder works for
Email address
Business telephone number
Our sign up page does not use any cookies and tracking pixels.
What do we do with the personal information we collect?
We use the information to provide updates about the project to interested stakeholders.
How long will we keep the information for?
The information will be held for the duration of the DPA STRAT project. Any personal information held for the specific purposes of the project will be deleted six months after completion of the project.
What legal basis
The personal information is processed on the basis that is necessary for the legitimate interests of the DPA STRAT project team to engage with stakeholders about the research report.
If we publish quotes from stakeholders who have taken part in the research, we will do this on the basis of consent.
Do we share personal information with others?
Personal information is not shared with any other parties unless it is required under law or personal information is hosted by a third party processor, who host the data on our behalf.
Is personal information shared internationally?
Any personal information shared with third country processors is done in accordance with applicable international data transfer requirements in national data protection laws. Where a third country is not deemed adequate under EU or UK GDPR, standard contractual clauses will be used as a safeguard.
