This month's 𝓑𝓮 𝓦𝓮𝓵𝓵 features the Stranahan Elementary community coming together to build an Inclusive & Accessible Community Playground for all the children in the area to appreciate and play on.

Stranahan PTA’s fundraising goal reaches 90 percentSince August 2023, members of the Stranahan Parent Teachers Association of Sylvania have been working toward their goal of raising $650,000 to construct an inclusive and accessible community playground on the school property that the entire community will be able to enjoy.

Stranahan PTA President, Tara Haye, shares importance of inclusive and accessible play for all children. The 1st Annual Inclusive Playground Benefit Dinner will be held on Friday, June 28th to raise funds and awareness.

Congratulations to Mya Butler, winner of our t-shirt design contest! Students were tasked with showing us what "inclusive play means to you". Mya was one of many students across the community that submitted designs. Thank you to everyone that participated!

We'd like to give a shout out to Southview Art Teacher, Emily Zunk, who encouraged her students to submit designs. We love to see the community engagement!

We will be participating in Jupmode's "Here for Good" Campaign to sell t-shirts with Mya's design. Pre-orders will be available March 11th through March 31st.
