At StoutAboutTown, I understand that life can sometimes interrupt even the best-laid travel plans. When a trip must be cancelled, I aim to make the process as clear and manageable as possible.
Cancellation Management Services
Cancellation Management Services
My travel planning services involve research, itinerary development, supplier coordination, and booking management. If a client cancels a trip after reservations have been made, additional work may be required to coordinate cancellations, communicate with suppliers, track eligible refunds, and update travel documentation.
A cancellation-management fee may apply based on the level of planning service provided and the scope of the cancellation work. The applicable fee will be disclosed in writing and agreed upon before reservations are made.
What the Fee Covers
What the Fee Covers
The cancellation-management fee covers the agreed administrative services associated with cancelling travel arrangements. It is separate from supplier-imposed cancellation penalties, nonrefundable deposits, and other charges governed by individual supplier terms.
Any planning fee previously paid is governed by its own terms and is separate from the cancellation-management fee. The same service will not be charged twice.

Please submit cancellation requests in writing so that I can document your request and begin coordinating with the appropriate suppliers. Refund eligibility, processing times, and penalties depend on the terms of each booking.
Travel insurance is strongly encouraged. Coverage for cancellation expenses, planning fees, and other costs depends on the policy purchased and the reason for cancellation.
