The Club meets at Heath Pool on a Wednesday and Saturday afternoon at 2pm all year round subject to suitable weather conditions other dates are below. We can also meet on a Sunday morning at 11am at certain times of the year, members arrange with each other if they wist to attend via the club WhatsApp/email groups.
Members are encouraged to bring along any models being worked on for any advice needed on any projects, to the Club Night meetings.
The monthly meetings are held at the Norton Community Centre, Heath Farm Road, Stourbridge, DY8 3AZ on the third Wednesday of the month
UPDATE FOR 2026
For the 3rd year running, Stourbridge Model Boat Club (SMBC) have been invited to Weston Park to provide a model boat display for the annual International Model Air Show.
Along with the model plane displays, there are radio control helicopter, drones, cars, as well as the boat display.
The show is happening over 3 days, from Friday 19th to Sun 21st June 2026. On the Saturday evening there will be a huge fireworks and aerial pyrotechnics show, and during the weekend there is an avenue of traders selling all types of food and drink.
Many suppliers of radio control planes and equipment will be there over the weekend, with bargains galore!
Over the weekend there will also be full-sized aeroplane displays happening.
Weston Park is based in many acres of estate land near Weston-under-lizard, Shifmal TF11 9LE.
