The StoryPlus - Post & Story Maker app is built as a free app. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

Permissions We Use Our app requires specific permissions to provide its core features while prioritizing your privacy:
A. Media Library Access (Images)
Purpose: Core functionality of the Editor.
Usage: The App allows you to pick photos from your device to edit and use in your story templates. For devices on Android 13+, we use granular media permissions (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES). We only access the photos you specifically choose to edit.
Partial Access (Android 14+): We fully support the "User-Selected Media" permission. This allows you to select only specific photos for the App to access, giving you total control over your private data.
B. Storage Management (Older Android Versions)
Purpose: Saving and exporting edited stories.
Usage: On devices running Android 10 or below, we use READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE to load your images and save the final edited posts to your gallery.
C. Network / Internet Access
Purpose: Downloading Templates and Filters.
Usage: We use Internet permission to fetch new templates, fonts, stickers, and updates from our servers so you always have fresh content.
Modern Library Integration (How we build it) We use industry-standard libraries to ensure the App is fast, stable, and beautiful. These libraries process data as follows:
Glide (Image Processing): Used for high-speed image loading and caching. It creates small "thumbnails" of your photos so you can scroll through templates smoothly without lag.
Room Database (Local Storage): Used to store your downloaded templates and "Favorites" locally on your device. This data never leaves your phone.
Retrofit (Networking): Used to securely download templates and assets from our cloud storage.
GPUImage (Image Filters): Used to apply high-quality, aesthetic filters to your photos locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers for processing.
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics:
Analytics: Helps us understand which templates and features are used most so we can improve the App.
Crashlytics: If the App crashes, it sends a technical report to us so we can identify the bug and fix it in the next update.
Cookies This Service does not use cookies explicitly. However, third-party services used in the app may use cookies or similar technologies to improve their services. You have the option to accept or refuse these cookies.
