By accessing or using CleanApp ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
CleanApp is a mobile application that helps users manage device storage by identifying duplicate photos, similar images, large files, unnecessary screenshots, and offering tools such as video compression, contact cleanup, and a private encrypted vault.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
The files you choose to delete using the App
Backing up important data before performing any deletion
Ensuring you have the right to delete any files processed by the App
Keeping your device and App up to date
CleanApp presents files for your review before deletion. All delete actions require your explicit confirmation. We strongly recommend backing up important files before use.
4. CleanApp Pro Subscription
CleanApp offers a premium subscription ("CleanApp Pro") that unlocks additional features. By subscribing:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law
Free trial periods, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends
5. Secret Vault
The Secret Vault feature stores files in an encrypted format on your device. You acknowledge that:
If you forget your PIN and biometric authentication is unavailable, access to vault contents may be permanently lost
We cannot recover encrypted vault data on your behalf
You are responsible for maintaining access credentials
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
CleanApp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. File analysis results (duplicate detection, similarity scores) are based on algorithms and may not be 100% accurate — always review items before deleting.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CleanApp and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, resulting from your use of the App. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and trademarks within CleanApp are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its servers
Reverse engineer or decompile the App
Use the App to infringe on the privacy or rights of others
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via an in-app notice. Continued use of CleanApp after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the jurisdiction where the developer is located.
