➡ They hold a Neighborhood Information Meeting (4/15/24)
➡ There is a hearing in front of the Planning Board (6/5/24)
➡ They vote on whether or not to recommend changes to the Board of County Commissioners
➡ There is a hearing in front of the BOCC (date TBD)
➡ The Commissioners vote on whether or not to grant the requested changes
The application made by the developer includes a lot of material, both required and optional. You can read peruse their documents here. The Neighborhood Information Meeting is open to the public, but only property owners within 1,000 feet of the parcel in question are notified by mail. A sign is put on a roadside of the property as well. If the application is denied, the developer must alter the application or wait a year before resubmitting.
The Neighborhood Information Meeting was on April 15, 2024. The Planning Board meeting was June 5 and 10. There is not a date set for the Board of County Commissioners meeting, but it won't be before September.
