Just about anyone! We are open to both individual and group delegates, as well as international delegates.

It will include access to the conference and venue, any of its preparatory sessions, meals and snacks for the 3-day event, networking sessions and socials, and a few souvenirs.

Early Registration (first 30 delegates; one Delegation max 10 delegates in early): MYR 90

Regular Registration (until 8/1/2027):

• Individual Delegate: MYR 120

• Group Delegate (with valid code): MYR 115

Late Registration (until 7/2/2027); does not apply to SHP students: MYR 140

Malaysian government/public schools may contact the Secretariat to negotiate a possible discount for regular registration. This is limited to a certain number of delegates.

All registration date windows are subject to availability; registration will close sooner if spots are completely filled.

The conference will be held in person at our host school, Stonyhurst International School Penang. All committees are conducted offline.

There may be additional sessions held online before the conference, meant to assist delegates in navigating the challenges they will face and preparing for the conference. Details to follow.

They are assigned to delegates based on availability and then preference. Delegates may refer to the Country Matrix.

We collect multiple options from students to ensure the maximum number of delegates get their preferred countries and committees; however, this may not always be possible.

The typical age range for our delegates is from 12 to 19—nonetheless, there are no strict limitations.

For safeguarding reasons, the minimum age for Chaperones is 16.

Accommodation is not included in the registration fee; Stonyhurst Penang also does not have on-campus dormitories. However, the Secretariat has recommended a few nearby hotels in the Delegate Handbook.

Outstation group delegations may enjoy a special rate for Jazz Hotel, Citadines Tanjung Tokong, Hompton by the Beach, and Flamingo by the Beach; registration forms will be available soon and upon request.

In addition to documentation, delegates should bring a paper/notepad and a pen to take notes, as well as their portable devices (laptop/tablet).

Delegates are required to dress in formal attire at all times, except on Social Night on Day 2, 6 March (traditional/cultural attire should be tidy and appropriate nonetheless).

School uniforms are permitted if formal enough.

We have a phenomenal Socials event on Day 2, 6 March! We will be entertaining performances between a (total) 2-hour throwback rave and are working on getting a professional photo booth and a gelato stand.

We recommend that everyone dress up in traditional/cultural attire (of their country of origin, their represented nation, or Malaysia).

Yes! The SHP WiFi details will be provided on the conference days.

As most of our forms have a file upload question for proof of payment, the following error message may show up on some domain/school accounts:

“You can't respond to SHPGMUN'27 Delegate Registration because you don't have permission to share documents with the form owner. Contact your domain administrator if you think this is a mistake.”
