Based in Gosport, Hampshire, The Stokes Bay Strummers are a ukulele group that meets up to play for fun and raise much needed funds for local charities. The founding members met at a ukulele course at the Gosport Discovery Centre in 2011 and the group has gone from strength to strength ever since.

The Stokes Bay Strummers practice at St Faiths Community Centre (Lowry room) in Lee on Solent - 19:30 (till 21:00) on Tuesday evenings.

Over the years, the Strummers have played over 500 concerts, raising funds for various charities. The main aim is to give audiences a good time and to encourage their participation. If you would like the Strummers to play for you then a donation to this year's nominated charity is requested.
So far, the Strummers have played well over 500 gigs and raised in excess of £34,000 for local charities.
We have had a fantastic two years with St Faiths Hub as our Charity, for 2026 The Strummers will support Lee ICANGO.
* Lee ICANGO are based at St Faiths church in Lee on Solent.
* They give vital support to the local community, providing affordable transport for individuals, groups or families, catering for all ages, including those with disabilities. The Charity aims to improve lives by connecting people and reducing social isolation.
