SCHOOL HISTORY

St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe Education Center is a pre-primary, primary, and secondary school offering education that builds a person as a whole being that is mentally, morally, spiritually as well as physically that make a person to grow in the fear of God by seen the value of creation and the beauty of the creator among the things which he created. St. Maximilian Education Centre opened its doors in January 2008 in Dar es Salaam - Tanzania, having been established by the missionaries of The Conventual Franciscan Friars (OFMConv), from the province of Mary Immaculate in Warsaw-Poland. It's existence  fulfilled the vision and desire of the founders as to be a centre of excellence in instilling positive values and attaining high academic standards.

Today, Maximilian, in acknowledging the whole person, encourages achievement, participation and service, committing itself to the development of life-long learning and respect for self and others.

St. Maximilian has a strong focus on student well-being. Students faith development is supported by sisters who seek to develop the faith, religious and prayer experience of our student.

A variety of liturgical celebrations, seminar and community service activities are all designed to foster the Catholic ethos and identity of St. Maximilian schools.

The motto of Maximilian schools is "Education That Adds Value!" this means that we educate the whole person, spiritually, intellectually, socially and morally. We believe in the importance of a broad curriculum suited to the needs, abilities, and interests of our students. In short, the main purpose of Maximilian schools is to lift up the living standards of the people as well as the whole country through the achievement of good education especially children who have great intellectual possibility. Inside the school only English Language is used to provide a solid preparation to live in a global and international environment.
