St. Mary’s Primary School has an active Parent Council which supports the work and life of the school e.g. eco initiatives and enhancement of the school curriculum.
The current Chairperson is Alana Reilly and she can be contacted through the school office. The Head Teacher is the professional adviser to the Parent Council and has a right to attend and speak at the Parent Council or Parent Forum meetings.
The Parent Council has a Facebook page for promoting activities, please like and follow to be kept up to date.
Open to all!
Any parent or carer of a child at the school can volunteer to be a member of the Parent Council or to attend meetings ad hoc and volunteer for events when available.
Members of the committee are voted in during the AGM which takes place during September at the start of each academic year. We aim to have representation of all year groups in the school. Please feel free to join us at any one of our meetings.
