October Study, "Praying with the Psalms" will be every Wednesday evening in October. Dinner will begin at 5:30 with study from 6-7pm. See attached flyer for more details.
"Tell Out My Soul" Stewardship 2026 - Pledge and Time and Talent cards should be in your mail before Sunday. Please return cards by Nov. 23rd. You can also enter your pledge online. Thank you for supporting SMSS with your gifts!
Cruise-in and Chili Cook-off fall fundraiser is Saturday, Nov. 1st, 3-5pm. Bring your favorite chili recipe to compete for the Best Chili (sign-up in parish hall) or just come out to sample, vote, and eat! We need donations of toppings, crackers/bread, and drinks if you would like to help out. Come enjoy the cool cars and hot chili and bring a friend. Chili sampling and meal suggested donation $10.
Youth Group Book Drive - The youth group is doing a book drive. All genres. Drop books off at parish hall by Nov. 2nd. Contact Corey with any questions.
Celebrate Harvest Festival is Sunday, Nov. 9th, 1-5pm. Join us for live Music by Joseph Hasty, Petting Zoo, Carnival Games, Crafts, Gardening booths, Cake Walk, Relay Races and more! All proceeds benefit youth programming. We are collecting toilet paper rolls and empty soup or tin cans and need cakes/baked goods for the cake walk. Sign up in the parish hall.
Faith and Spirituality Book Club at Thornwell's, This group meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month, 1pm at Thornwell Books. If you are interested in joining, email hello@thornwellbooks.com and say that you are interested in Book Club #4. This book club is led by Father Logan. Our book for November 18 is How We Learn to be Brave The Rt. Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde. As with all book clubs, Thornwell Books will offer a 10% discount on all book club books purchased there.
Blanket Drive - Grace Episcopal is collecting new or gently worn blankets for the homeless as colder weather is here. Please see attached flyer for info.
