Alyson Johnson is originally from Rock Hill, SC, she is a graduate of Clemson University, a twin, and a thyroid cancer survivor. She has been with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for 8 years and comes to us from her latest role as the Business Development & Partnerships Director for the NC/VA Region. Prior to that, Alyson has overseen the Light The Night, Students of the Year and Man & Woman of the Year campaigns in Charlotte, NC- growing them all to be $1mm+ events.

Outside of work, Alyson enjoys kayaking, photography and traveling with her husband Ryan. She loves a good pun, a strong cup of coffee (or bourbon) and her two goldendoodles Sophie & Sammy. She is excited to join the Lower Plains team and meet the LLS family in St. Louis.

His specialties include sales, consulting, project management, organizational development, data visualization, and fundraising

Austin holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Austin Peay State University and a Master's in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University. He has served professionally and voluntarily with non-profit such as the Children’s Miracle Network, the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Miss American Organization, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, and the Boy Scouts of America. He currently serves as the President for his Fraternity's alumni and volunteer corporation, where he focuses on developing a robust living learning community for college-age men.

Austin is celebrating 2 years of marriage with his wife Erin Leigh, 3 years of journaling, and his recent completion of the Appalachian Trail. His passions include mentoring, public speaking, public radio, personal fitness, graphic design, hiking, fantasy football, and Pokémon card collecting.
