Please note the earlier start time due to having to finish at CBHS by 6PM. If you choose a field event (other than HJ) you can arrive by 11:30 and still complete your field events.

Event Order: Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, 100M, 1600M, 400M, 800M, 200M

(field events usually goes at the same time as the first running events. Kids can leave and return later)

• Please arrive by 10:30 if you have field events (you can push to 11:30 if not in HJ) and 11:30 for running events. You may leave after your last event. No practice.

• Tip: Write events including heat # and lane # on kids' arms with a sharpie

• We will have a designated meeting area in the field next to the track. Look for Coaches and/or a Cardinals banner. The kids need to arrive on time and STAY in that area until they are called to an event. If they wander off, we will not be able to hunt them down and they will probably miss their event.

• Proper preparation for Meets and etiquette is listed on the General Info page. Please take a moment to do a refresher and read this section.

• Kids are free to leave when their last event has finished.

This is an Athlete's Choice Event. The Shelby 78 Championship will only allow 2 athletes per event and 1 team per relay. For some on our team this may be their last chance to compete. CLICK HERE and pick your own events by Thursday 5PM (4/22).
