AWARDS
Awards are at the heart of every conference and are what we use to recognize the most outstanding delegates who through their actions, have impacted the committees in such a positive way, that it truly wouldn't be the same without them. With that being said, the Awards do not define you as a delegate, rather what you bring to the committee does. They are merely our way of giving a slight acknowledgement to particular individuals. We are honored and excited to be given the opportunity to have you at STLMUN I and wish everyone the best of luck.

The Best Delegate Award
The best delegate award is given to the delegate who has shown the most extraordinary skill and performance in combatting the issues at hand during committee. The best delegate shows time and time again a thorough understanding of the topic at hand, their role in the committee and ROPs. This delegate also fosters healthy and lively debate by bringing new ideas to the committee, constant and active participation and being an overall leader to the discussion. Lastly, through their actions, this delegate has made a significant positive impact on this committee and without them, it wouldn't truly be the same.
Outstanding Delegate Award
The outstanding delegate award is given to the delegate who has shown outstanding skill and performance in combatting the issues at hand during committee. Once again, the outstanding delegate shows a thorough understanding of the topic at hand, their role in the committee and ROPs. This delegate also fosters healthy and lively debate by bringing new ideas to the committee, constant and active participation and being an overall leader to the discussion. Lastly, through their actions, this delegate has made a significant positive impact on this committee and without them, it wouldn't truly be the same.
Honorable Mention Award
The honorable mention award is given to the delegate(s) who have shown impressive skills and performance in combatting the issues at hand during committee. This honorable delegate shows a good understanding of the topic at hand, their role in the committee and ROPs. This delegate also fosters healthy and lively debate by bringing new ideas to the committee and constant and active participation. Lastly, through their actions, this delegate has made a significant and positive impact on this committee.
Best Position Paper Award
The best position paper award is given to the delegates who have written the most impressive paper combatting the issues at hand. This delegate has shown a significant understanding of the topic and has shown their ability to create creative solutions to combat said issues whilst maintaining accurate representation of their character. They are clear with their motives and methodically outline their ideas in a comprehensive, yet concise manner. Their paper is created in such a way that it exceeds expectations and brings ideas and issues, that might even give the chairs a run for their money.
