I am an Assistant Professor in Economics currently working at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split.

Prior to joining academia in February 2017 I worked for 4 years as a policy analyst at SEECEL - a policy institution located in Zagreb, Croatia with mandate in human capital development for South East Europe and Turkey.  At SEECEL I gained project and policy experience while regularly working with colleagues from OECD, European Commission, EBRD and European Training Foundation.

I hold a PhD in Economics from the Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. My PhD thesis focused on high-growth firms and impact evaluation of grant schemes for firms in the Republic of Croatia.  Currently, my main research interest is the theory of the firm and evaluation of public policies. Results of my research has so far been published in journals such as European Economic Review, IZA Journal of Labor Policy, Small Business Economics, and others.

At the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism I currently teach Principles of Economics and Microeconomics.
