Giacomo Di Capua

Giacomo Di Capua (B.A., B.B.A, Pg. Cert., M.A.) is Youth Delegate of Italy to the United Nations 2023/24, a postgraduate researcher in Climate Health Economics at the Environmental Sustainability and Health Institute, Technological University Dublin, and a sustainability & climate advocate. His experiences in the environmental sector include his current roles as National Director of ISEC Italy, founder and chairperson of Environmental Action Rome, Climate Policy Analyst at Osservatorio Parigi, and previous roles as Co-Chair of Technological University Dublin's Green Campus Committee, TEDx Speaker, Green Policy Advisor at Yezers and volunteer conservation assistant & field researcher for international projects at Service Civil International. Formerly in the Crisis Bureau of the United Nations Development Programme, Giacomo is currently the Executive Director of TNGO, a youth think tank of international affairs, and a pro-bono consultant on sustainability strategy for higher education institutions across 3 countries.

 

 

Ose Ehianeta Arheghan

Ose Ehianeta Arheghan (they/them) is the 12th UNA-USA Youth Observer to the United Nations. Armed with valuable insights gained as a student organizer, Ose is determined to continue bridging the gap between youth-led movements for a better future and the policymakers who have the authority to enshrine transformative change. Combining journalism with political advocacy, Ose’s work spans topics like LGBTQ+ policy, arts, and culture. Their journalism can be found in NPR, The Advocate, GLSEN.org and GLAAD AMP. In their capacity as the Youth Observer, Ose champions education, amplifies youth voices, and advocates for increased representation to bring about a more equitable and progressive tomorrow. They have represented UNA-USA at the UN General Assembly, the World Food Forum, and numerous youth engagement conferences and workshops across the US and abroad.  Ose is a Harry S. Truman Scholar (’21), GLAAD 20 under 20 Rising Star (’20), Matthew Shepard Foundation Spirit of Matthew awardee (’18) and GLSEN National Student Advocate of the Year (’17).

 

 

Celeste MacIlwaine

Celeste MacIlwaine is the head of the World Food Forum’s Innovation Lab at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

 

 

Eleonora Bosio

Eleonora Bosio is a criminal lawyer holding a specialisation in international and environmental law. She has gained extensive study and work experiences around the world in esteemed institutions including the International Criminal Court in The Hague, the Xi'an Jiaotong University in China, and the Italian-South African Chamber of Commerce in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Subsequently, she founded University for SDGDs, an organization dedicated to promoting the Sustainable Development Goals through the creation of a multi-sectoral dialogue between academia, companies and public authorities.

 

 

Andrea Albanesi

Andrea Albanesi is a current student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Global Governance at Tor Vergata University in Rome, Italy. In his role as Director General of the Global Model African Union of Global Africa Youth Dialogue, his enthusiasm for diplomacy and international cooperation is evident. Albanesi leads with compassion, encouraging and motivating others in their work.

Albanesi possesses a strong aptitude for developing communication and fostering cooperation. His dedication to utilizing diplomacy for creating a more peaceful world positions him for significant influence and leadership in the field of international affairs.

The Global Africa Youth Dialogue was established to create a platform for young people to strategize, negotiate, resolve conflicts, and navigate potential solutions that impact Africa and the broader global agenda in an amicable manner.

 

 

Edoardo De Cal

Edoardo De Cal is a student of engineering at Politecnico di Milano with a strong passion for utilizing technology to address practical challenges. He is also the co-founder of Wop Station, a web platform that supports farmers in managing their fields through the use of satellite data and artificial intelligence. This innovative approach aims to lessen the impact of climate change on agricultural practices.

 

 

Kenley Rudimch-Kenneth

Kenley Kenneth's passion for environmental activism and advocacy has deep roots in his upbringing on the island of Palau, where he was born and raised as a proud Pacific Islander. This passion has propelled him into various impactful roles, including his position as the Youth Coordinator for the 7th Our Ocean Conference. Through his dedication, he has also had the privilege of representing Palau's youth at prominent international events, such as the United Nations Ocean Conference and COP 27, which led to his experience as a youth negotiator for Palau at COP 28. 

In addition to his environmental work, Kenley's aspirations to serve as a diplomat for the Republic of Palau have driven him to work within the Office of the President. In this capacity, he collaborated closely with Presidential staff, attending and documenting high-level meetings, preparing talking points, and drafting official correspondence. His diverse skill set includes strong writing abilities, confident public speaking, proficiency in both traditional and modern media, and a knack for navigating both Pacific and Western policy realms. In his current position, Kenley serves as an AOSIS Fellow at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Palau to the United Nations as an ocean and climate adviser. 

Outside of his professional endeavors, Kenley takes pleasure in sharing his country's rich culture and traditions with others. He is also committed to fostering discussions on how to amplify Pacific and indigenous voices on the global stage.

 

 

Dana-Marie Salina

Dana-Marie Salina is from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago which is the Southernmost archipelagic island in the Caribbean. She is an Attorney-at-Law with over five (5) years of experience having most recently worked as Judicial Research Counsel to a Judge of the High Court of Trinidad and Tobago. She is passionate about the intersection of Human Rights Law and Environmental Law . Dana-Marie  is currently an Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) fellow at the Permanent Mission of  the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the UN  with a focus on SDG2, Sea Level Rise and technology relative to climate change adaptation.
