Poster Session Guideline

Participants

・Student and faculty member of KOSEN and NUT

・Student and faculty member of University in Japan and overseas

・Company and Research Institute in Japan and overseas

・Research related to achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)

・Research on KOSEN and NUT Joint Research Grant

・Achievements of graduation work, special research, and teacher's individual research

・Research related to SDGs by KOSEN, University and Company.

・Industry-Academia Collaborative / Cooperative Project Report by company

Award

Best poster award will be selected by voting from participant faculty members and company.

The awards will be announced and delivered during Networking dinner(Activity-D).

(1) Abstract and Poster

・Please prepare the 2 following items:

1) Abstract for online submission

・An abstract template file can be downloaded here.

・Please prepare your abstract in MS-word file (.doc or .docx) .

・The following information should appear at the head of the abstract with a line space between each item and before the main text

● TITLE (12pt in BOLD BLOCK LETTERS)

● Name(s) of author(s) : The presenting author should be underlined. (11pt)

●Affiliation, city, country, zip code and presenting author’s E-Mail address (10pt, Italic)

●Keywords and Field: (10pt, Italic)

・Abstracts should not exceed one page of A4 (210 x 297 mm) size

・The margin should be 25mm on left, right and bottom side, and 15mm on top side.

・You can add figures or pictures.

・Place each of main and sub SDG logo (main: 3 x 3 cm, sub: 2 x 2 cm) on the top left corner. The frame of each logo should be "No border".

・Please submit PDF file.


2) Poster (A0 size) printed to bring along to the venue

・Place each of main and sub SDG logo (main: 8 x 8 cm, sub: 6 x 6 cm)

・The following information should appear at the head of the poster

●Name(s) of author(s)

●Affiliation

・Make your poster in A0 size

(2) Poster Session

Participants will be divided according to respective SDGs category into each room. Please prepare your 90 seconds oral presentation in English. All participants give 90 seconds oral presentation first, then poster session is carried out afterwards divided into first-half and second-half.

*Individual poster number, oral presentation turns, and group for poster period will be notified to each participant before the conference

13:00-13:40 90 seconds oral presentation

13:40-14:20 Poster period (First-half)

14:20-15:00 Poster period (Second-half)

(3) Schedule

1. Register for application online and submit abstract

Application and submission of abstract need to be done at the same time online

2. Print your A0 size poster

3. On the conference day

・Bring your A0 size poster to the venue

・Your presentation number will be posted at the reception at the venue

・Place your poster on the wall at the each indicated room

4. Attend to Poster Session

5. Announcement of award

The awards will be announced and delivered During the Networking dinner (Activity-D). The winners will be invited on stage.

If the winner is absent, we will send a certification by post afterwards.

Regarding Handling of Personal and Presentation Information

Your personal information provided on this form is used only for the purpose in regards to 4th STI-Gigaku 2019.

Also, for participants who are attending the poster session with a presentation, please be informed that your abstract and author(s) information might be uploaded on our HP or distributed in the form of USB device to all participants.
