Position: Researcher (July 2010 - June 2012)

Macroeconomic Wing, Ministry of Finance,

Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh

Job Responsibility:

• Prepare and update the Medium Term Macroeconomic Framework (MTMF)

• Provide detailed projections supporting each macroeconomic projection and present detail analysis

• Examine the consistency of projection of fiscal sector against the projections of real sector, monetary sector and external sector

• Recommend policy measures to overcome probable problems arising out of any unexpected change in domestic or global economy

• Prepare monthly/quarterly report/press release on macroeconomic situation in consultation with Economic Advisory Wing and have involvement of the preparation of Bangladesh Economic Review.
