In 2020, I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Northern Illinois University. In 2013, I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a master's degree in Economics. In 2019, I also completed M.Sc. in Applied Probability and Statistics at Northern Illinois University. My primary research fields are Health Economics, Public Economics, and Applied Microeconomics. I have been teaching Economics and Statistics courses as a visiting/part-time faculty at different undergraduate institutions.
I was also a member of the Bangladesh civil service. After my training period, I served at the Ministry of Finance's Macroeconomic wing for two years. During my tenure in Bangladesh civil service, I was selected to participate in training on Financial Programming and Policies organized by International Monetary Fund, Washington D.C.
