JOIN US FOR THE INAUGURAL YEAR OF
Baby & Me Nursery
Sunday School
The youngest among us (1-4 years old) and a parent are welcome to join us in the downstairs classroom room during Sunday School time for a quick lesson and fun fellowship with their future best friends.
This year we are trying something new! It's development is a work in progress and we welcome the families of our little ones to join us for Orthodox based learning and fellowship. Bring your little ones for five minutes or the whole half hour for prayer, songs, alphabet and number study, and play!

Read a book.
Go over letter and/or number of the day.
Younger students stay on the carpet for playtime.
Older students given opportunity to color letter/number of the day and then play.
Parents would be able to keep folder in classroom to accumulate letters/numbers until all are finished.
Enhanced Socialization:
Baby and me classes offer early opportunities for socialization, allowing infants to interact with other children and adults in a structured setting. This helps them develop essential social skills like sharing, taking turns, and cooperative play.
Improved Motor Skills:
Activities like sensory play, movement, and music in these classes help babies develop their motor skills, including coordination, balance, and muscle strength.
Cognitive Development:
Through activities like reading, storytelling, and sensory exploration, these classes stimulate cognitive development, including language skills, memory, and problem-solving abilities.
Increased Confidence:
By participating in various activities and receiving positive reinforcement, children can develop a greater sense of self-confidence and independence.
Sensory Exploration: Sensory play, a common feature in these classes, allows babies to explore different textures, sounds, and smells, which is vital for brain development and learning.
Strengthened Parent-Child Bond:
These classes provide a dedicated space for parents and children to bond through shared activities and interactions, reinforcing the parent-child relationship.
Learning and Support:
Caregivers can learn valuable parenting tips, developmental milestones, and strategies for interacting with their child from instructors and other parents
Community Building:
Mommy and me classes offer a supportive community for parents to connect with others who are navigating the joys and challenges of early parenthood.
Fun and Engaging Environment: These classes provide a fun and engaging environment for both parents and children, making learning an enjoyable experience.
Able to include children of any age (birth to right before entering kindergarten).
Short lessons with little prep necessary followed by socialization means families can stay or leave based on a child’s individual attention span.
Short lessons would be at the most basic level (letter/number of the day, introduction to prayers, children’s songs) and all directly tied to Orthodoxy.
Students will begin forming bonds, essentially from birth, with other children from the community, that will follow them for a lifetime.
Absences of the leader could still mean bonding time activities for students in the one-to-one setting with already in place parent involvement.
