St George's Bowling Club

St. George's Bowling Club is located in Telford, Shropshire, with two crown greens offering bowling opportunities to it's members within the local community. 

Established in 1922 the club has achieved many accolades over the years and is widely regarded as the most successful club in Telford over the past 50 years. We offer playing, practice and social opportunities to bowlers of all ages and abilities along with the warm welcoming of new members 

We have teams in several leagues, with bowling opportunities at all levels of the game and encourage new and novice bowlers to play within those leagues or just socially for exercise. The club also provides a route to the highest levels as bowlers experience develops. 

The Club is affiliated to St. Georges Sports & Social Club, which has a well-appointed club lounge area and function room, with a regularly changing selection of top quality real ales along with hot and cold bar food at unbeatable prices. The club has won numerous CAMRA awards over the years for the quality and range of it's real ales.

The Sports & Social Club has subscriptions to all major satellite sports channel, a large HD screen and Wi-Fi internet connection (Free to members). The lounge bar also holds regular entertainment evenings for it's members to enjoy.

The large function room is available for hire to members and the general public and holds regular events to cater for all tastes, such as monthly quiz nights in aid of local charities, St. G's Soul Club, along with wedding receptions and other events.
