Online Workshop
2-3:30 pm
Led by Danielle Teale Dance, this session is a part of the national 'Collective IDentity' Project, which involves weekly online workshops for those with Parkinson's. This week , guided by the interests of the participating dancers, the session will touch on nature as inspiration for collective movement.
Featuring a live dance and music programme directed by Danielle Teale (dance) and Jaka Skapin (music), Collective IDentity is an exploration of togetherness and empathy, in a personal enquiry into compassion, care, identity and collectivity, both on screen and in person. This national project brings together visual arts, dance, music and research with dancers with Parkinson’s. You can find out more about Arts St George's involvement with the programme here.

Let's bring the outside in...
To kick start our first ever St George's Arts Week, talented Illustrator Isabella Mitchell will be painting a bespoke temporary mural, transforming the pannels currently stationed on the 1st Floor corridoor of Lanesborough Wing.
Taking inspiration from St George's unique hospital gardens, the design will encompass natural imagery, bringing a sense of biophelia to the hospital building.
The mural will then be on display for the hospital community to enjoy throughout the St George's Arts Week 2021 and beyond.
