Current Sunday Series
Starting on Sunday, May 3rd, we will begin our next series, To the Ends of the Earth. Through May and June, we will be exploring and dialoguing our way through the first part of the book of Acts, tracing the story of the early church as the good news of Jesus moves outward in the power of the Holy Spirit. Together, we will see how ordinary people were transformed into bold witnesses, and how the mission of Jesus continued beyond the resurrection into the life of His church.
After a break for the summer, we will pick the journey back up from September through December, continuing through Acts as we follow the gospel's movement from Jerusalem outward to the nations. Whether you have read Acts many times or are opening it for the very first time, this series will encourage and challenge us to consider what it means to be part of God's mission today.
10:30am at the Steveston Hub, beginning May 3rd - all are welcome!
Church at the Hub might not be like any church you've experienced before (yes, even dogs are welcome!). Here's what you can expect when you join us:
You’ll be greeted by a few friendly dogs (yours is welcome - discuss with us how that would look).
We gather in a relaxed, casual setup.
We share in worship - sometimes through music, sometimes through a guided spiritual practice.
We pray for one another.
We pause for a coffee and snack break.
We learn together from Scripture with teaching from one of our pastors, leaving space for open discussion - feel free to join in or simply listen. We value your voice!
We close each week by sharing communion.
And yes - it all wraps up before Steveston's 12pm whistle!
