A portion of my performing experience has been with artist-specific tribute bands, usually Led Zeppelin, but I've also performed with tribute bands to Yngwie Malmsteen, Amy Winehouse, Bad Company, the Grateful Dead, Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Foreigner, Aerosmith, and The Clash.
Since 2012, I've played and sung with the Philly area's beloved dance/party band The Flamin' Caucasians, juxtaposing Justin Timberlake side by side with Floyd Cramer in the repertoire.
For several years, I substituted regularly for 10-piece band the Sofa Kings, who used me for their annual gigs at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA, and during their reign as WMGK House Band when they played pre-show warm-up sets for Eagles, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Steve Winwood, and Queen + Adam Lambert.
When AM Radio Tribute Band recruited me as their original keyboardist in 2014, I took on a role within an ensemble cast. My contributions are more than the ordinary piano and organ; there are also crucial horn, string and woodwind parts in the array of 1960s and '70s material we cover, from kitsch to psychedelia.
Meanwhile, I've been playing church music for 20 years. I am currently a liturgical musician and director of choral and instrumental ensembles.
