I am nearing the end of my 10th year in education. In that time I have taught Biology and AP Biology. I really enjoy sharing my interest in biology with students. One of my goals is to help students reach their goals. Another goal is to integrate various aspects of STEM into my classroom. Over the last year, I have been integrating TinkerCAD and 3D printing in my classroom. When possible I share EdTech Skills and my 3D printing experience with fellow staff members. I bring the following skills to the table: classroom management, EdTech skills, curriculum planning, differentiation, and collaboration.

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)- What We Use
-Heats filament and distributes it onto heated plate
-larger scale
-tend to be more functional
- not as detailed
Stereolithography (SLA)
-uses light to harden liquid resin
-used for sculpture and figures
- much higher details
-Must be cured with UV light and washed
-slightly toxic
