Ella Enchanted

Ella Enchanted was Anne Hathaway’s second feature film. And while her performance was praised by critics, it wasn’t enough to carry the shortcomings of the film. People said that the film’s story was silly and the special effects used were very cheap. In the end, the film wasn’t able to earn back its $31 million production budget.

Dungeons and Dragons

If a film was titled Dungeons and Dragons, you’d expect it to sell pretty well considering the success and popularity of the game the movie’s title was based on. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword

What was expected to be a blockbuster epic turned out to be nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Warner Brothers went ahead and gave the movie a $175 million budget expecting the movie to launch a six-part cinematic universe.
