I am a Ramón y Cajal postdoc at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid; my supervisor is Héctor Barge. Previously, I was twice a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, mentored by Pieter Moree. In the meantime, I was a postdoc at Charles University, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Number Theory Group, and my mentor was Vita Kala. I was a PhD student of Jan Steffen Müller at the University of Groningen, Department of Algebra.
My field of research is number theory and explicit arithmetic geometry. More precisely, rational points on curves (in particular, the method of Chabauty and Coleman and its variations), Diophantine equations, and arithmetic statistics (especially of curves and their Jacobians, and p-adic statistics). Also, I am interested in other various questions in number theory and its applications to other areas of mathematics (in particular, algebra, logic, and cryptography) and in methods of teaching mathematics.
I am an associate editor of Indagationes Mathematicae for number theory.
