Can the Celtics win it all in this Bubble Season?

Originally from Andover, Stephen Stapinski now resides in Boston. He is a superfan of the Celtics, Red Sox, and New England Patriots. He has kept himself busy during the pandemic by starting a series of blogs based on his love for Boston sports and the city’s professional teams.

For today, Stephen Stapinski looks at the NBA’s “Bubble Season” and the chances of the Celtics to win it all. He lists down a few reasons Boston might be en route to banner #17.

Everyone is healthy.

When we say everyone is healthy, it takes on a completely different aura in today’s pandemic-stricken world. But aside from being coronavirus-free, the Celtics’ key players and most of the roster is actually injury-free, which is a very welcome relief after years of being hobbled.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are coming into their own.

Two of the youngest stars of the team, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, having matured quite well in their game. Combined with their athleticism and their ever-improving court IQ, they could very well be the duo to watch during the Bubble Season’s playoffs.

The veterans are living up to expectations.

Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward, Marcus Smart, and Enes Kanter and the rest of the veterans have been gelling quite well. They have contributed to the Celtics charge in their own ways on both ends of the floor. And with the genius of coach Brad Stevens calling the shots, things look bright.
