Teaching

Teaching has been a central part of my academic and professional journey for more than eight years. At the University of Florida, I have served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses in Comparative Politics and Introduction to International Relations, where I lead discussion sections, support undergraduate instruction, and encourage students to think critically about political institutions and global affairs.

Before joining the University of Florida, I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Alabama's Critical Language Center, teaching Akan (Twi), and as a Teaching Assistant at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, where I assisted with courses in Public Policy and Politics and Development. My teaching experience also includes serving as a junior high school teacher and a teaching intern in Government and History in Ghana.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes critical thinking, evidence-based reasoning, and active student engagement. I strive to create an inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to ask thoughtful questions, evaluate competing perspectives, and connect political science theories to contemporary political issues.

As I continue my academic career, I look forward to teaching courses in Comparative Politics, African Politics, Political Institutions, Elections and Voting Behavior, Public Policy, and Research Methods while mentoring the next generation of scholars.
