My work telephone number is 07824 530 894. Messages left at this number can be treated as confidential. I am the only person who will listen to them.
I can also be contacted by confidential, encrypted email at s.goss@hush.com.
Please note that neither phone nor email is monitored while I am not at work. This means messages may not be received until, at the latest, our next scheduled session. Because of this, if a session has not yet been arranged, it is best to email rather than telephone. General arrangements (routine scheduling or appointment alterations etc) are best made by email or text message.
I will reply as soon as I reasonably can once I have received your message. For cancellations, fees applied will depend on the time the cancellation is sent, not when it is received.
If technology goes wrong at the start of, or during, our scheduled session, we will usually have a back-up means of communication in place, agreed during our first session. For example, where we are meeting by video link, but the connection is poor, we may re-convene by telephone. I will usually call you, rather than the other way around, unless we have arranged otherwise, but you can use the number above if necessary.
I’m not able to offer crisis or emergency support. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, frightened, or unsure whether you can keep yourself or others safe, it’s important to reach out to services that can respond immediately.

For practitioners working with me for supervision, urgent or emergency help will usually be through your organisation’s procedures or, where that is insufficient or inappropriate, I recommend you use the support and advice services provided by BACP (eg by emailing ethics@bacp.co.uk or you can call BACP on 01455 883300 and ask to schedule a meeting with a Member Support Practitioner) or through your professional body.
