Welcome to the website of the Student Teachers Exchange Programme (STEP). STEP is an initiative of Radboud University (The Netherlands), the University of Vienna (Austria), the University of Bremen (Germany), and the University of Salamanca (Spain). It offers an annual course for prospective teachers in secondary education across all disciplines. Together, the students work on a current educational challenge. The digital course leads up to a physical exchange week at one of the partner universities. 

STEP 2026 is organized by the University of Bremen and centers around the theme of cooperative learning in the inclusive classroom. The exchange week takes place from 4 to 8 May 2026 in Bremen, Germany.
