Your client's garden is 70m x 50m. They would like a family friendly garden that also has space for sitting outside and you must include the following items:
Fence around 3 sides
Patio area with paving or deck
Pond
Shed or summer house
Grass area for children to play
Flower beds
You can draw a scaled drawing of your garden on paper or use an online tool such as Smartdraw. If you draw to scale, it will be easier to calculate how many fence panels and paving slabs you will need later. You could use 5cm = 10m scale if drawing by hand.
Decide where all your features will be in the garden, you might add one or two of your own ideas, think creatively! You can take a screenshot of your design and save it in a planning folder.
