Code.Org allows students to explore everything they could possibly want to know about computer science. Kids can follow tutorials and complete various coding activities such as creating a dance party or building worlds on Minecraft. A bonus is that this site has a pre-reader express course designed especially for non-readers aged 4-8! Code.org has many different levels of coding activities which is geared for students grades K-8.

Funology is an engaging website for students to find engaging crafts, recipes, games, trivia and more. The numerous activities are great for students aged K-5.

Plum Landing: Plum Landing is an animated series offered by PBS kids. It centers around Plum, a video game designer, who explores nature, healthy ecosystems, and sustainability. It is aimed at learners aged 6-9.

Typingclub.com: Typing Club is a fun resource that is used to help students learn to type confidently. It has different levels and is presented like a game but it is an accuracy "test" of how well each student is typing. It is excellent practice for younger students who are learning to type or anyone who needs additional practice with typing skills.

Mysteryscience.com Mystery Science is a favorite in the classroom. It has grade appropriate lessons for students that teaches them about a number of different topis. The videos are engaging and they are always paired with a science craft that goes along with the lesson.

Studio Code dance party: Studio code dance party is a fun website we use in class occasionally to help students practice and understand coding with a fun twist. This website has fun pop songs for students to choose from and their goal is to pick thier favorite characters and use coding to help create dances for them to complete. It gets more challenging as it goes on but the end result is worth it!

Type Dojo: Type Dojo is a website that helps students to practice their typing skills. They are given multiple options to choose the difficulty levels they want to focus on and which letters they want to get more practice with. It is a great tool to use in school or at home for students who want to improve their typing skills. Something I like about this website is it can be used with almost grade level!
