Participants in our drone piloting and racing program learn to skillfully and safely pilot professional-grade drones through an intensive and enjoyable course covering aerodynamics, physics, and piloting in first and third person views. The program culminates in participants testing their skills through various missions and obstacle courses and receiving an introduction to potential careers in the drone industry, along with resources to become FAA certified pilots.
In the microcomputing and python program, students are taught a creative design process based on the scientific method, which involves lectures and the creation, engineering, and manufacturing of their own digital device, resulting in a strong foundation in Python programming, self-efficacy in engineering, and a fully developed gaming console.
